We are pleased to announce the SaudiCIS 2026 Junior Faculty Consortium (JFC), an event tailored for untenured faculty members, focusing on key aspects of professional development such as research, teaching, and service activities. This half-day event is designed to equip junior faculty with the tools and knowledge to navigate academic challenges and achieve a balanced professional life.
During the consortium, participants will have the opportunity to interact with distinguished scholars, mid-career faculty who have recently gone through the tenure/promotion process, and peers. The primary aim of this workshop is to offer valuable insights on planning and managing the tenure/promotion process, career development, and effective networking.
The workshop will cover a variety of topics crucial to the promotion journey, including publication strategies, career planning, work-life balance, and managing collaborations. The format will be interactive to ensure a dynamic and engaging experience for all attendees.
